The Montana Department of Environmental Quality’s 2008 Monitoring Network Plan is available for inspection and comment on the agency’s internet public comments page: http://deq.mt.gov/pubcom.asp.  This document is required by federal regulations that became effective in December of 2006. The purpose of the plan is to describe the ambient air monitoring network as it exists and to present any changes contemplated in the next year.
