*EPA Awards $200,000 to the Camden Port Authority*
(Dallas, Texas - August 12, 2008) The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded a $200,000 brownfields cleanup grant to the Camden Port Authority in Camden, Arkansas. Grant funds will be used to clean up the Moore/Buck site at 739 Adams Avenue, which is contaminated with benzene, toluene, and other petroleum products. The site was formerly used as a stave mill and an auto repair center. Grant funds will also be used for cleanup planning and to remove and dispose of underground storage tanks.
