Phase I Environmental Site Assessment

Weather permitting; the Mosquito Control Section is planning the following insecticide application during daylight hours on Tuesday,
August 19, 2008.

Application of Altosid 20% (Methoprene) will take place with an airplane to control mosquito larvae in the following areas:

Salt marshes near Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, South Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island.

All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions. The USEPA has determined that the insecticides to be used do not pose unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife or the environment.
