Phase I Environmental Site Assessment

Weather permitting, the Mosquito Control Section is planning the following insecticide application(s) beginning as early as 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 and continuing up until midnight as conditions permit.

Application of Permanone (permethrin/PBO) with truck-mounted sprayer to control adult mosquitoes in the following areas:

Battery Park in the City of New Castle; and the communities of Colonial Heights, Glenville, and Park Lane in greater Wilmington.

All insecticides used are EPA-registered for mosquito control and applied according to EPA-approved label instructions, which the EPA has determined can be used without posing unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife, or the environment.
