Forecast Discussion

*”Thursday 03/29/2018 “*
Increasing incoming background levels behind a departing cold front could be high enough for ozone to reach the lower end of the “Moderate” range mainly in parts of the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, and San Antonio areas, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening.

Elsewhere in the state, moderate to strong winds, lingering cloud cover, and/or lower incoming background levels should help keep air quality in the “Good” range in most spots.
